Truffle and her Toadstool
Truffle and her Toadstool is the cheeky little 25cm (10in) fairy who inhabits the toadstools. She is jointed together with tiny beads, has a hand drawn and coloured face and “fly away” hand dyed mohair for hair. She wears little bloomers under her gathered sundress, and has stiffened fabric wings which can be decoratively hand or machine stitched. Her spotted toadstool is 33cm (13in) and is shaped with darts and stands alone with a firm base. Grass blades “grow” from the base and of course Truffle shares her home with the lace motif dragonflies.
